Coronavirus Update

COVID-19 - an update to our customers from Turramurra Music. Updated 05/8/2020.

 

We are continuing to monitor the escalating COVID-19 situation on a regular basis and follow the advice of government and health officials.

 

Our store currently remains open - we are continuing to operate in store sales as well as all phone and online sales and enquiries. We are currently open weekdays 9:30-6:30pm (note changes to Thursday trading hours), and Saturdays 9:30-4:00pm.

With the need to minimise non-essential interactions, we would encourage customers to purchase online or via phone if possible.

We have reduced our usual $250 free shipping threshold and are now offering free standard shipping on any order above $100* (*excluding bulky items more than 10kg or greater than 1m length). We are currently providing same day dispatch for any orders placed before 11:00am, and have increased local deliveries. We offer many express shipping services that typically provide for next-day delivery, and can arrange courier services for same day delivery on request. Please note: some shipping timeframes, particularly to Victoria may be impacted due to Covid restrictions and precautions. Please see the Australia Post and StarTrack websites for up to date information on shipping impacts.

Our retail store does remain open for those that need to visit us in person, however if possible we request that you order online, via email or phone. To protect the health of our staff and customers and help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented several additional important measures including:

  • Requiring customers to use the provided hand sanitiser upon entry to the store, prior to trying any products in store (e.g. guitars, keyboards)
  • Temporarily restricting the demonstration of all microphones and brass & woodwind instruments until further notice
  • Reminding all customers and staff to follow recommended health & hygiene practices (maintain 1.5m social distancing, avoid shaking hands etc.)
  • Requesting that customers not visit the store in groups of more than 2 people (aside from families)
  • Requesting that customers minimise the amount of time spent in store and demonstrating instruments (max 15 minutes)
  • Requesting that customers sign in and leave contact details on entry during peak times
  • Regularly disinfecting key areas including hand rails, door handles, phones, work surfaces and other common areas
  • When collecting your order from the store, the order can be delivered to your vehicle upon request to avoid having to physically enter the store. Get in touch with your salesperson if you would like for this to be arranged.
Please do not come in if you are feeling unwell, or have recently been in contact with anyone diagnosed with coronavirus.  

Stock Availability: Due to factory shutdowns, shipping restrictions, demand increases, and many other factors out of our control, the availability of many of our key products has been significantly impacted. Our staff will do their very best to give you information, however many of our suppliers are unable to provide ETA information and arrival timeframes are being impacted by frequent changes in restrictions.
