Roland has taken the best parts of the Sytem-100m's 131 module and applied them to the modernized System-500 531 mix module.
Each of its 6 inputs contains its own level slider, pan knob, and mute button—making it a one-stop-shop for centralized mono or stereo signal mixing. Its high fideity sound and low noise ratio sweeten the deal, but the voltage-controlled panning on each channel is what really takes this module to the next level.
Additional features include a stereo preamp for integrating external line-level signals, a headphone section with dedicated volume knob, and stereo 1/4" and 3.5mm outputs.
