Eventide's H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 is a compact multi-effects pedal built around modern ARM processing that delivers studio-grade sound in a stage–ready format. The unit houses 74 algorithms drawn from the full H90 and H9 Max libraries, with over 1,000 presets and continued algorithm updates via USB. High-fidelity polyphonic pitch-shifting (SIFT) powers advanced harmonic and polyphonic effects, making it a serious tool for both studio detail work and live performance.
The workflow centres on a 2.5" display, Quick Knobs, button pads and HotSwitch macros for fast sound design across Select, Bank and Perform modes. Audio I/O spans instrument and line-level inputs with true effects spillover, while connectivity includes USB-C, MIDI, aux switch and expression pedal inputs. Built-in tuner rounds out the feature set, and the Harmonizer+ suite pairs with MixingLink (sold separately) for vocal processing applications.
