The Sennheiser XSW-D digital wireless range is a series of compact, portable and affordable digital wireless systems for a variety of applications. Easy to use and fast and simple to set up, all XSW-D systems feature one-touch sync for easily linking the portable transmitter and receiver, and a digital 2.4GHz peer-to-peer connection. XSW-D systems feature a built-in rechargeable battery (up to 5 hours of battery life), the ability to mute from either the transmitter or receiver, and the option to configure and switch between multiple transmitters and receivers for maximum versatility.
The Sennheiser XSW-D Portable ENG Set features both a plug-on XLR-F transmitter for easy connection to most handheld microphones and a 3.5mm wireless transmitter for connection to most lapel or headset microphones, plus a 3.5mm receiver for easy connection to DSLR cameras and other deviecs with a 3.5mm audio input. This allows you to switch between wireless transmitters depending on your application. It also includes a Sennheiser ME2-II lapel microphone, a coiled extension cable and shoe mount allowing you to mount the wireless receiver easily on your camera and making capturing dialogue on a DSLR easier than ever before.
