Ebow

EBow (short for Electronic Bow or "Energy Bow") have created a hand-held, battery-powered guitar effects device designed for electric guitarists to produce infinite sustain and unique, bow-like tones. Invented by Greg Heet in 1969, it replaces the traditional guitar pick in the right hand, allowing players to create rich harmonic textures that mimic violins, cellos, horns, and woodwinds.
