Pearl Flutes, established in 1968 in Chiba, Japan by Katsumi Yanagisawa, is renowned for integrating traditional Japanese craftsmanship with innovative design, most notably the patented Pinless Mechanism and One-Piece Core-Bar. As part of the Pearl Musical Instrument Company (founded 1946), it produces high-quality, durable flutes ranging from student models like the YFL212 to professional, handmade instruments like the Pearl Elegante range.
