The Focusrite ISA Two features two channels of Focusrite’s premium variable input impedance microphone preamplification in an elegant 1U rack-mount configuration with both line and front-panel instrument inputs – ISA Two is perfect for superb stereo recording or for additional high-quality channels.
Microphone preamplifiers lie at the root of the Focusrite family tree. Back in 1985, when Sir George Martin asked console design legend Rupert Neve to design new modules for AIR Studios, the Input Signal Amplifier, or ISA – the mic pre – was the first. That design was the foundation of Focusrite’s benchmark Red range, and its descendants form the ISA series available today.
With 80dB of gain, dedicated insert point and high-pass filter, and user-calibrated meters, ISA Two is the ideal input stage for your rack or DAW front-end, when connected to a high-quality interface.
