Steinberg is a renowned German music software and hardware company based in Hamburg, specializing in tools for music production, composing, recording, and editing. Founded in 1984, the company is a pioneer in digital audio technology, creating industry standards such as VST (Virtual Studio Technology) and ASIO (Audio Stream Input/Output). Following the Yamaha acquisition in 2005, Steinberg expanded into hardware, including the UR series audio interfaces and IXO series audio interfaces.
