The latest addition to Kenton’s popular Pro Solo range, the Pro Solo Mk3 introduces a host of enhancements over its predecessor, including three continuously variable auxiliary outputs, a built-in ADSR envelope generator, MIDI CC smoothing for eliminating steppy controller data, and more.
Designed for musicians looking to integrate analogue synthesizers into a modern MIDI setup, the Pro Solo Mk3 offers exceptional compatibility with both vintage and contemporary instruments. The CV output supports standard 1V/Oct and Hz/Volt operation, while also allowing scaling anywhere from 0.92V/Oct to 1.62V/Oct, making it suitable for a wide range of synths including Buchla and EML systems. Tuning can be adjusted with both coarse and fine controls across a range of ±2 octaves, while a generous pitch bend range provides further flexibility.
The Gate output supports multiple voltage levels and can also be configured for S-trig operation, ensuring compatibility with a broad selection of analogue equipment.
Three continuously variable auxiliary outputs are provided via 3.5mm jack sockets and can be assigned to MIDI CCs, velocity, aftertouch, MIDI clock and more. The MIDI Thru port can also be switched to output Sync24, allowing classic Roland gear to be synchronised alongside modern MIDI devices.
Configuration can be performed directly from the front panel or via Kenton’s Pro Solo Mk3 Configuration Manager software.
Please note that connection leads are sold separately, allowing users to select the most suitable cables for their particular setup.
