The intuitive “Kit Modifier” knobs allow instant control of Ambience, Compression, and Effects, so you can sculpt your sound in real time. Dive deeper into the editing functions to fine-tune tuning, muffling, and layering, or save your own kits from scratch. With 40 professional presets and 200 total kit slots, the DTX-PRO gives you total creative freedom.
Textured Cellular Silicone Pads for Realistic Feel
The DTX6K2 features Yamaha’s acclaimed Textured Cellular Silicone (TCS) pads for a natural, quiet playing experience. The XP80 snare pad provides realistic rebound and accurate rim triggering across three zones (head, open rim, and closed rim). The toms feature responsive rubber pads that balance feel and durability, ideal for daily practice.
The cymbal setup includes dual-zone crash and ride pads with natural swing and choke response, while the HH65 hi-hat controller provides smooth control and precision whether open, half-closed, or fully closed.
