The Yamaha FSX830C (Brown Sunburst) is a compact acoustic-electric with a rich, detailed voice, combining a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides, a comfortable concert-style cutaway body and Yamaha's proven SYSTEM66 electronics.
Its smaller concert body is comfortable to play seated or standing and produces a tighter, more focused response than a full-size dreadnought. This makes the FSX830C particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, lighter strumming and players who prefer a more compact acoustic without sacrificing tonal depth.
A solid spruce top provides clarity, projection and dynamic response, while the rosewood back and sides add depth, complexity and rich overtones. Yamaha's scalloped bracing allows the top to resonate freely, helping deliver a full and balanced acoustic sound with plenty of detail.
For amplified performance, the FSX830C (Natural) features Yamaha's SYSTEM66 electronics with an under-saddle piezo pickup. The onboard preamp provides volume, 3-band EQ, adjustable mid frequency and a built-in tuner, giving you useful control when plugging into an acoustic amp, PA system or mixing console.
The Venetian-style cutaway provides easier access to the upper frets, making the FSX830C a versatile choice for home playing, recording, live performance and more.
