The Waves eMotion LV1 Classic isn’t just another live mixing console—it’s the moment the LV1’s legendary sound quality, flexibility, and plugin power arrived in a self-contained, purpose-built desk.
Waves have taken the acclaimed LV1 software mix engine—already renowned for its clarity, depth, and precision—and housed it in a beautifully designed, road-ready chassis with tactile controls, motorised faders, and a massive multi-touch screen. This blend of software and hardware gives you the workflow speed and simplicity of a traditional digital desk plus the legendary plugin-rich power of the Waves ecosystem.
The LV1 Classic enables you access to the full suite of Waves processing – acclaimed EQs, legendary compressors, reverbs, vocal tuning, feedback suppression and many others, all without the need to host these on external servers (which adds complexity, potential points of failure and latency). The streamlined setup simplifies installation and delivers faster setup times with less integration of multiple components.
Designed for demanding pro audio environments, the LV1 Classic offers 64 stereo channels, 44 stereo buses, and the renowned double-precision 32-bit floating-point mix engine (44.1–96 kHz) for unparalleled clarity and headroom. At its core are 16x impressive Waves Signature Preamps, with discrete analog circuits, ultra-low noise, and switchable transparent or harmonically rich sound.
The 21.5″ multi-touch display is enormous and responsive, providing an amazing and highly customizable visual display of countless parameters. The 17 motorized 100 mm faders are fast and solid, as are the rotary tactile encoders. The console is housed in a compact, fly-able chassis weighing in at just under 18kg.
The console comes with 16 classic processors included, many of which are staples in both live sound and studio production and part of the legacy that has made Waves winner of a Technical Grammy™ Award. The following plugins are included with the console:

Of course, you can also upgrade to your choice of over 160 live-optimized plugins, individually or in Waves’ Live Sound bundles.
LV1 Classic’s internal DSP engine is powerful enough to support plugin-rich shows and in our in-store testing we have never come close to maxing it out, despite running heavy processing on large channel counts. But if you do want more power, adding DSP is easy with the ability to simply add additional Waves SoundGrid DSP servers for hyper-powered processing.
In terms of expansion and connectivity Waves offers additional I/O with their IONIC stageboxes (Ionic 16 [16 in / 12 out] or Ionic 24 [24 in / 18 out]). You can connect to Dante and MADI devices via SoundGrid-to-Dante and SoundGrid-to-MADI expansion devices, add more analog-to-digital convertors or connect the LV1 Classic to third-party consoles. You can even add an external touch screen, or more tactile fader banks.
